Burglars want to rob your house, will you defend it? This printable escape room is an adventure for kids, families and adults as they trick Harv and Larry, evade capture, and finally turn those burglars over to the police at the end! Use logic and creative thinking to place toy cars just right for the perfect trap, study plans to drop paint cans from the balcony, and create an origami tree house to make your escape! Up to 8 players is recommended, larger groups can print it out twice and even race each other! This test of wits includes 13 challenges to solve in an immersive escape room atmosphere. Clues to the answers deck the halls, floor, and in envelopes players open as the game goes on. Game play is about 60 minutes, with recommended ages 8 and up. Hints are included to help younger players and make the game stress free. A fun challenge at the end finally gets the burglars to jail! Older players can be challenged to solve without using any hints while asking them, “You guys give up? Or are you thirsty for more?”
What's the story?
Your family is off to Paris, but they left you behind! Two burglars, Harv and Larry, are determined to rob your house while everyone is away. They are almost to the doors! You need to find the key to open the upstairs window and find a cell phone to call the cops, all while keeping one step ahead of Harv and Larry! You see a broken tv and some train tracks. Hurry, this is your house, you have to defend it!

👨👩👧👦Players: 6-8 recommended (but can have down to 1 player- how to instructions are included)

➡️Large groups: Print copies so there are 6-8 per copy and set up in separate areas of the room. You can run all escape rooms at the same time.

Love these games. I like to set them up so as you complete one puzzle you progress to a new room and each clue solved gives your the password to "open" a door into the new room. My kids and husband look forward every Thanksgiving to completing an escape room!

Set this up for hockey team building for U14 players. They had a great time, the task were challenging and took about an hour for each group to complete. This escape room was well thought out and highly recommended.

Easy to print and prepare clues. Helpful hints and task description. Excited to give it a go at my work holiday party *EDIT TO ADD* my holiday party was a success. The prep work paid off and I’m glad I did it right. It was fun watching my team solve the problems and clues. Everyone told me that they loved it and wanted to know where I got the game idea. Many people stated they want to do an escape room at home now. We ignored the part where it says up to 8 players. I think there was a team of 10 people that consistently helped from the first to last clue. I did print some of the wall items in a bigger size. It took the team about 50 minutes from start to finish. Thanks for the game!

Love it! My niece is having a Home Alone birthday party and we are doing this escape room as the party activity (10 and 11 yrs old's). I love all the ideas this comes with!
